This website runs without cookies, trackers, or external analytics. We only process personal data where technically essential. Note: the legally binding version is the German one.

2. No cookies, no tracking
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tracking, or advertising services (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no TikTok, no Hotjar, no Plausible, etc.). No personal data is processed for user profiling. A consent banner under § 25 TTDSG is therefore not required.
3. Server logs and hosting (Cloudflare)
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you visit, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data: IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp, HTTP status code, transferred byte count, referrer.
This data is used solely to operate the website, to protect against attacks (e.g. DDoS), and for technical error analysis. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website). Cloudflare typically retains logs for a few days.
Transfer of data to the USA: Cloudflare is a US company and may process data in the United States. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023). EU Standard Contractual Clauses are additionally in place. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR has been concluded with Cloudflare. Cloudflare's privacy policy is available here: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
4. Self-hosted fonts
The fonts used (Inter, JetBrains Mono) are served directly from our server. There is no request to Google Fonts or any other third-party CDN Your IP address is not transmitted to a font provider.
5. Contacting us
If you contact us by email, your data (email address, name, content of your message) is stored to process the request and for any follow-up. Legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering your request). We do not share this data without your explicit consent and delete it as soon as storage is no longer necessary and no statutory retention obligations apply.
6. Your rights
You have the right at any time to: access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), objection (Art. 21 GDPR), and withdrawal of consent (Art. 7 (3) GDPR).
